About Glenn Murphy

Since 1999 Glenn has helped to develop and support numerous charities in their initial stages of development and setup - both in a hands-on manner and through financial support. In 2007, Glenn established the foundations goals to enable support and assistance to charities and voluntary organisations aligned to:

1. Improving social mobility, supporting young people and developing local community based initiatives,
2. Supporting local, national and international charities that support the arts, sciences and heritage initiatives.

Since these initial aims, Glenn has been involved in the running of a number of charities and voluntary organisations, from both an operating management and a governance perspective.

Glenn established the charitable foundation to promote good charitable governance for new charities starting out, as well as administrative and logistical support where appropriate. Glenn's goals through the foundation, are to remove or alleviate the financial uncertainty associated with starting a new charity. The aims of the foundation have changed since 1999, and today are aligned with those on our how can we help page.

The charitable foundation also supports Glenn's desire to promote heritage initiatives, with additional interest in the arts and sciences, through philanthropic giving. The foundation maintains a focus on the London and west London region, though the foundations charitable giving does not limit itself to those areas alone.
